 Patient Policies

You entrust us with your health, we entrust that you will respect our policies.

Please bring your medication bottles with you to your appointments.

We request 24 hours to process your refill requests; other forms and written orders may take longer. This grace period allows us to handle illnesses and appointments promptly.

We strive to have same-day appointments for our regular patients— avoid the wait of walking in and having to wait to be seen. Just call ahead and we’ll be ready for you for your appointment that same day! (Note we do reserve the right to triage the true urgency of the appointment.)

Please call ahead to cancel your appointments if you need to.

Effective November 1 st , 2007, we have a No Show policy:

For regular appointments:

•  1 st missed appointment: you'll be reminded that your slot could have been used for a sick person.

•  To help you remember, we personally call every person the day before a scheduled appointment to pleasantly remind you.

•  2 nd missed appointment: you'll be billed a $25 fee.

•  3 rd missed appointment: you will likely be asked to find another practice, as well being billed the $25 missed appointment fee.

Reason for policy: We are growing and are always working hard to meet your needs. When someone fails to show up for an appointment, that slot could have been use for another sick person.

No Show Policy For Physicals:

•  We will call to CONFIRM your Physical or your child's Well Child appointment approximately 48 hours ahead of time. If we don't reach you directly, please return the message and confirm that you are coming. (This confirmation is just for physicals.)

•  If we do not hear from you before we open on the day of the appointment, you will lose your appointment slot for your physical.

•  If you still show up, you may need to reschedule as the appointment slots fill up quickly every day.

•  If you fail to show up for a confirmed physical without due notice of at least 12 hours or without special circumstances, you will be billed a $25 fee.

Reason for policy: We are growing and are always working hard to meet your needs. When someone fails to show up for their Adult Physical or Well Child Check, those are 30 precious minutes that a sick person could have been seen.
