Insurance

Insurance. We participate in many insurance plans, including Medicare and Tricare. We can also file for United Healthcare (although you'll find us in the network listed under Dr. Lehr, Kathy's collaborative physician.)

We are NOT in-network with regular Cigna. We ARE in network with Cape Cigna that covers Caswell County employees. For most other insurance plans, such as Wellpath and Blue Cross Blue Shield, we are in-network.

If Yancevyille Primary Care is not currently contracted with your insurance plan, as a courtesy, our billing company will submit the claim to the current insurance carrier of record. We reserve the right to request full payment of the visit at the time of service, or we may bill your account. When out of network, an insurance will often cover most of the visit but may have the patient pay for 20% of the visit. To balance that, we have a reduced fee schedule for patients that choose to come here even though we are not in their insurance network. This helps ensure that the out-of-pocket difference for coming here is very minimal. (Yes, people DO choose to do this because of the quality of care and service we provide!)

If you are insured by a plan we do business with, but don't have an up-to-date insurance card, payment in full for each visit is required until we can verify your coverage.

Knowing your insurance benefits is your responsibility. Please contact your insurance company with any questions you may have regarding your coverage.

.Co-payments and deductibles. All co-payments and deductibles must be paid at the time of service. This arrangement is part of your contract with your insurance company. Failure on our part to collect co-payments and deductibles from patients can be considered fraud. Please help us in upholding the law by paying your co-payment at each visit.

We have a reasonable reduced fee schedule for all patients without insurance. Please note, this is not a sliding scale based on income. Most visits are $60 for established patients. Physicals are $85. Some labs are included with visits, such as urine and strep tests. There is an additional charge for labs sent to Labcorp but the rates are very reasonable.
