We are a private practice, under the ownership of Kathy Patterson, FNP, serving the people of Caswell County, southern Virginia, and surrounding areas.

We provide primary care services --both illness and wellness care-- for people of all ages. This included Pediatrics, Gyn care, and all primary care services.

In early 2007, Kathy Patterson, Family Nurse Practitioner, successfully purchased Yanceyville Family Practice to maintain a choice in healthcare here in the county. Previously under the ownership of Alamance Regional Medical Center, Inc., economics and physician shortage lead to a decision to close the practice. With her passion for her patients and the county, she formed a new practice, Yanceyville Primary Care and remained open continuously for their patients.

The practice is thriving and growing by leaps and bounds as her reputation grows favorably and patients are relieved to have a consistent provider at each visit. Patient satisfaction runs very high.

Solo NP practice is a unique situation but growing quickly by necessity for healthcare access for all of those in need. Per the state Medical and Nursing boards, she collaborates with a physician about her care of the patients when needed. She is supported by Dr. Janet Lehr, of Integrative Physicians in Durham , NC, with whom she consults when needed.
